Position: Clinical Psychology Intern
Responsibilities: Conduct therapy with a caseload of 20-30 individual psychotherapy clients in brief therapy
model including mood disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, couples therapy, EAP clients, consultation and crisis intervention. Conduct clinical interview intakes with 2-3 clients per week. Provide after-hours crisis pager coverage and weekly clinic crisis coverage. Conduct LD, ADHD and personality full-battery psychological assessments including administration, interpretation and report writing. Provide outreach and preventative mental health presentations and consultation across the University campus. Participate in ongoing consortium seminar training in: research, professional issues, multiculturalism and assessment.

populations of Regis University, alcohol addiction and suicide prevention work, grant-writing, program

Conduct individual therapy for offenders, parolees, and individuals on probation.
Conduct mental health evaluations and psychological assessments to coordinate treatment and make recommendations for the community.

Position: School Psychologist Extern
Responsibilities: Conduct group therapy focused on social and study skills for multiple ages: kindergarten through seventh grade. Coordinate with teachers, special education, assistant principal, social worker and school psychologist to identify and assist individuals who are experiencing troubles in class; conduct individual therapy. Conduct behavioral and cognitive assessments and prepare reports in an effort to determine learning disabilities, behavioral issues and emotional issues related to school functioning and behavior.

Englewood, Colorado Position: Independent Living and Life Skills Therapist
Responsibilities: Provide individual, group and psychoeducational therapy with adolescents in a residential treatment facility. Provide therapy and assistance surrounding employment, schooling and life skills issues.
Clients at Beacon Center, Inc. are a combination of Department of Youth Corrections commitments and Denver Human Services investigation placements. Conduct individual therapy for five or six clients ongoing, per week. Emphasis placed on integrating adolescents back into the community with meaningful mastery over life skills.

Position: Teaching Assistant for a Master’s level Cognitive Assessment lab
Responsibilities: Conduct weekly labs for Masters level students enrolled in Cognitive Assessment course. Teaching administration and scoring of the WAIS-III and WISC-IV, evaluating practice assessments, providing feedback and receiving the administration of mock evaluations.

Position: Peer Supervisor and Program Evaluator
Responsibilities: Provided support and peer consultation to masters students engaged in field placements
in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Assisted the Director of the University of Denver’s International Disaster
Psychology Masters program in the development and collection of field site evaluations from students
and supervisors. Met with directors and supervisors, gathered data regarding how to improve the field
placement process and partnership between the University of Denver’s International Disaster
Psychology Master’s program and multiple NGO’s providing psychosocial services to the Balkan
region.

Victim Assistant Unit 2003- 2005
Denver Police Department

Position: Team Member and New Member Trainer/Supervisor
Responsibilities: Shadowed new team members on their calls, provided feedback and suggestions for intervention improvement. Provided supervisory support for new members to the after hours team
Independent consultant to the Denver Police Department. Respond to scenes of crisis and trauma involving victims. Connect victims of crime, trauma or misfortune to community resources, justice system information and follow-up possibilities. Respond to the scenes of crime alongside police officers as a psychological first-aid responder.
